Meet Annette Hines

Mother. Advocate. Changemaker

Championing Special Needs Families

My journey began where so many stories do—with family.
I’m Annette Hines, wife and a mother of two daughters, one of whom, Elizabeth, passed away in 2013 from mitochondrial disease.

Elizabeth’s profound disabilities and healthcare needs taught me lessons no textbook ever could, shaping the way I approach my career, my life, and my passion for helping others.

At first, I was just like any parent—overwhelmed, unsure, and searching for answers in a world that didn’t always seem ready to provide them.

But Elizabeth showed me the strength of resilience and the power of advocacy.

Driven by her, I embarked on a mission to create a lifeline for families like mine, one that could bridge the gaps in support and empower others to face challenges head-on.

So, How Did I Get Here?

The truth is, my path wasn’t linear.

Like so many others, I started with good intentions but often found myself overwhelmed by the weight of caregiving.

There were countless nights of uncertainty and days when I wondered how I’d manage it all.

But through every obstacle—whether legal complexities, emotional struggles, or advocacy challenges—I found purpose.

This isn’t just a career for me; it’s personal.

Over the past two decades, I’ve dedicated my life to helping families build stronger foundations.

Whether it’s navigating public benefits, creating long-term plans, or finding the courage to advocate for what their loved ones deserve, I’ve seen time and again how the right guidance can transform lives.

What Drives Me

Three principles fuel everything I do:

Empathy: I’ve been in your shoes. I know the fear, the frustration, and the hope that comes with supporting someone with special needs.

Expertise: With over 20 years of experience as an attorney specializing in Special Needs and Elder Law, I’ve built the tools and resources to guide families through even the most complex challenges.

Empowerment: My goal is simple—to help you turn uncertainty into action and create a future filled with confidence, stability, and care.

My Vision

Through Speaking, Special Needs Companies, the SNAP Masterclass, and the Circle of Care Community, my mission is to ensure that no family feels alone in their journey.

Whether I’m working one-on-one with a family or sharing my insights on a podcast, I believe in creating spaces where people feel supported, heard, and equipped to thrive.
